Refund and Dispute Policy

All services, digital products, and licensed materials are provided by Quiet Dimensions LLC d/b/a Vast Quiet Space. Vast Quiet Space is the public-facing studio, art laboratory, label/imprint, and publishing/licensing identity of Quiet Dimensions LLC.

All services involve custom creative work and/or digital delivery.

Because commissioned work is custom, time-based, and created specifically for each client, payments, including deposits, are non-refundable once a project has been scheduled and work has commenced. Work commencement includes research, planning, drafting, production, revisions, and related creative labor.

For digital recordings, licensed works, and downloadable materials:

All sales are final once files have been delivered, access has been granted, or licensing rights have been issued. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are not provided after delivery.

If a technical issue prevents access or delivery, Quiet Dimensions LLC d/b/a Vast Quiet Space will make reasonable efforts to provide a corrected file or alternate delivery method.

If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction so the matter may be reviewed and resolved directly.

We encourage clients to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We are committed to resolving concerns in good faith whenever possible.

Cancellation Policy

For commissioned projects

A project may be canceled prior to the start of production. Deposits secure scheduling, administrative preparation, and reserved studio time, and are non-refundable once the project has been scheduled and confirmed.

If a project is canceled after work has begun, Quiet Dimensions LLC d/b/a Vast Quiet Space reserves the right to retain payment for work completed up to the date of cancellation. Work completed includes research, planning, drafts, production time, revisions, and related creative labor.

For consulting or sound sessions

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be refunded.

Session Safety and Safeguarding Statement

Effective date: June 4, 2026

This Session Safety and Safeguarding Statement applies to sound sessions, immersive sound experiences, and related wellness or creative offerings provided by Quiet Dimensions LLC d/b/a Vast Quiet Space.

Vast Quiet Space offers sound sessions as a wellness and creative practice. Sessions are intended to support rest, reflection, listening, imagination, creativity, and personal agency. They are not a substitute for medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment from a licensed health care professional.

Client agency and consent

You are always invited to participate at your own pace.

During a session, you may pause, adjust, or stop at any time. You may also ask for changes to volume, pacing, guidance, silence, voice, instruments, or the overall session format.

You do not need to explain or justify a request to pause, adjust, or stop. Your comfort, agency, and sense of safety matter.

Sound safety

Before a session, we may ask intake questions about sound sensitivity, sound-induced epilepsy, seizure-like symptoms triggered by sound, sensory preferences, and sounds you prefer to avoid.

For safety reasons, we are not able to offer an immersive sound session if you have sound-induced epilepsy. If your answer is uncertain, or if your intake indicates that additional care may be needed, we may follow up before confirming whether the session is appropriate.

For in-person sessions, instruments are played off the body and are not placed directly on you.

Boundaries and conduct

We are committed to maintaining clear, respectful boundaries before, during, and after sessions.

We do not tolerate harassment, coercion, discrimination, intimidation, sexual misconduct, abuse, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct of any kind.

Clients are expected to participate respectfully. If a session becomes unsafe or inappropriate, we may pause, end, or decline to continue the session.

Working with minors and vulnerable adults

Our sessions are primarily designed for adults.

We do not currently offer 1:1 sessions to minors unless appropriate safeguarding arrangements are in place. This may include written consent from a parent or legal guardian, confirmation that the session is appropriate for the minor, and the presence or availability of a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult before, during, or immediately after the session.

For vulnerable adults or clients who need additional support, we may ask whether a legal representative, caregiver, advocate, or trusted support person should be involved in the booking, intake, consent, or session process.

We may decline, postpone, or adapt a session if we believe additional safeguards, support, consent, insurance, venue requirements, or professional guidance are needed.

If we become aware of a concern involving possible abuse, neglect, exploitation, or immediate risk of harm to a minor or vulnerable adult, we will respond according to applicable safeguarding and reporting guidance.

Privacy and sensitive information

We treat intake responses, session notes, and wellness-related information as private and sensitive. More information about how we collect, use, and protect wellness-related information is available in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Responding to safety concerns

If we become aware of a serious safety concern, we will respond with care and appropriate boundaries.

This may include pausing or ending a session, recommending that you contact a qualified medical or mental health professional, contacting emergency services if there appears to be an immediate risk of harm, or following applicable reporting guidance related to suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm involving a child or vulnerable adult.

Questions or concerns

If you have a question, concern, access need, or safety-related request before or after a session, please contact:
